I am pleased to invite you to an enriching virtual session on "Legal Forms of Doing Business," scheduled for July 9, 2024, at 3 pm via Zoom. This session is organized under the ambit of the FLO Legal & Advocacy Initiative, led by Governing Body Member, Ms. Reena George.

The FLO Legal & Advocacy Initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs by providing them with essential legal knowledge and advocacy tools to navigate the complexities of the business world. This initiative is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of legal frameworks, ensuring our members are well-equipped to make informed decisions and drive their businesses forward.

The objective of this session is to provide a comprehensive overview of the various legal structures available for businesses. We will explore the pros and cons of each form, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability partnerships (LLPs), and corporations. This knowledge is crucial for making strategic decisions that align with your business goals and legal requirements.

This session is part of a series of four seminars under the Legal & Advocacy Initiative, presented in collaboration with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. This seminar will be conducted by Ms. Megha Bhargava,Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Bhargava specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity/VC investments, restructuring, commercial contracts, and general corporate advisory. She regularly advises Indian and multinational companies across various sectors, with a particular focus on the cinema exhibition business, FMCG, and IT sectors.
